Osun’s election was a test of Nigeria’s electoral process and it exposed uncomfortable questions about vote trading, BVAS, security, election monitoring and public trust.

The EU-supported Election Observation Hub reported 103 vote-trading cases in its preliminary findings, while KDI recorded 19 reports of vote trading and a 15.3% BVAS accreditation failure rate as of noon.

These are observer reports, not proof that every allegation occurred.
