The US House of Representatives has voted to withhold 100% of US assistance to Nigeria over what lawmakers describe as Nigeria's failure to prevent violence against Christians and religious minorities.

A 20 year old woman in Delta State identified as Favour took her own life, saying that a popular content creator known as the "Odogwu of Asaba" sexually assaulted her in a hotel room.

Meanwhile, Delta State Police have arrested the creator over allegations linked to the death of 20-year-old Favour amid growing calls for justice and stronger protections for young women.

In Kogi State, all four remaining victims abducted during the attack on Government Secondary School, Olowa, have been rescued through a joint operation by security agencies, renewing concerns over repeated attacks on schools.
